Adventures in storytelling, technology & social change: TFI launches Sandbox

The Tribeca Film Institute have announced their newest venture, the TFI Sandbox.

The brand new site focuses on all the TFI digital initiatives including Tribeca Hacks and TFI interactive. Through the sandbox, users can get insights into new projects as well as an amazing resources section.

Some projects which have already benefited from funding through  include Elaine Mcmillion’s Hollow, Jigar Mehta’s 18 Days in Egypt and Hank Willis Thomas’s Question Bridge.

For those looking for funding in the future this is an invaluable resource and TFI are continuously looking to improve it; “as the landscape of transmedia is ever-changing, the Sandbox is still a work in progress. So feel free to reach out to us at with any questions or comments.”
