All things interactive at Tribeca Film Festival 2015

Tribeca Film Festival is underway and alongside the traditional programme lies the always impressive Storyscapes and TFI Interactive which combines talks, installations and an interactive playground.

To keep up with everything that took place, i’ve put together this Storify featuring top tweets, articles and pictures, as well as links to all the projects featured.

When researching for this, the sheer breadth of the programme put together by Ingrid Kopp and Opeyemi Olukemi really stood out to me. From the larger scale projects like Do Not Track, which was chosen for Storyscapes, to the smaller interactive interventions on display in the playground – the showcase was diverse and challenging.

Alongside this, the presentations during the Interactive day were again broad, touching on a number of topics – from impact, to futurism, to Google Doodles. Also important to note was the strong female representation, something that can often be overlooked at “digital/tech-centric” events. As Jessica Clark (Dot Connector Studio) noted on Twitter, Ingrid “chooses smart, subversive women to showcase”.
