Do you have a great idea for an interactive webdocumentary? Are you looking for the expertise to develop your project to a successful webdoc? Do you wonder how you can put your project on the market? Are you looking for funding? During WEBDOX – Doc Hothouse you will discover how to successfully blast your interactive documentary idea into the market and how to funding for your research.
First up Doc Hothouse takes place on October 10 – 12, perfectly timed during the Ghent Film Festival, is a three-day development lab where you can build your interactive web documentary idea into a technically strong concept, supported by a tight business model and distribution strategy.
The best ideas will be developed to projects ready for production. The primary goal of Doc Hothouse is to help participants find a commercial strategy and business model and to help them to get financial support for their research. This is done through several methods such as lateral thinking and brainstorming sessions, individually and via group sessions.
The highlight of Doc Hothouse is a pitching session where the teams present their projects to each other and to the mentors. The teams receive useful feedback on the creative and business potential of their ideas and how to get funding for their research.
During Doc Hothouse you will discover how to successfully blast your interactive documentary idea into the market and how to get funding to help you with your research.
