MORE ON OUR SPEAKERS:

Carmen Aguilar y Wedge is a Latina structural engineer and artist synthesizing art and technology to develop immersive transmedia experiences. Ece Tankal is a Turkish born designer based in Barcelona. Trained in architecture, her approach is to place the viewer as a natural extension of the micro and macro topographies created, expanding and stretching the reality we currently occupy. Ece is a co-founder of Hyphen-Labs studio, operating at the intersection of art and human interaction.

Claire Doherty was appointed Director of Arnolfini in August 2017. Prior to this, Claire was Director and Founder of Situations – one of the UK’s foremost producers of public art projects. Claire has spent 15 years spearheading dynamic new approaches to arts in the public realm, and is a leading advocate for the role arts can play in the future of our cities.
