Last Thursday the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture (NAMAC) and The Daily Dot held a Google Hangout on the ever relevant topic of Transmedia.
Moderated by Convergence Culture author Henry Jenkins, the discussion also featured the voices of Ingrid Kopp, the Director of Digital Initiatives at Tribeca Film Institute and documentary filmmaker Marc Smolowitz amongst others.
The concept of the hangout was to bring together people from a “variety of disciplines to talk transmedia and assess how different disciplines are engaging audiences and expanding stories across a variety of platforms”. – you can find out more about the hangouthere and if you missed out, the whole session is now available online to watch:
