Merry Christmas from i-Docs!

To send you off on your merry xmas way, here’s a few of announcements from i-Docs (and Zeega!):

Incase you haven’t seen already, Austin Music Map, a brand new project created in Zeega has launched!

” A participatory documentary project that creates portraits of the venues and spaces where musical communities gather, the Austin Music Map invites you to play the cityand map the uncharted terrain of Austin’s rich sonic landscape. Take us into your corner of the city. Show us a musical venue we’ve never heard of before. Surprise us with your favorite undiscovered musician. Let us in on Austin’s best kept musical secrets.

Austin Music Map is produced by Delaney Hall, KUTAIR and Zeega. The project is part of Localore—a nationwide production of AIR in collaboration with Zeega, with principal funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.”
Going to be great to see even more innovative projects coming from them in the new year.

Siobhan O’Flynn has brought this great piece to our attention via the i-Docs Facebook group:

“Here we present visual multimedia stories from the cross-media event, and showcase inspiring makers, emerging trends, and perspectives on interactive and multi-platform approaches to storytelling. The edition is full of video and text interviews, articles, and photos. We hope you enjoy it (and think of this as your end-of-year entertainment bundle).” Submarine Channel
