Calling all cross-media professionals – The Pixel Market is now open for applications! The Pixel Market will take place on the 16 & 17 October, at the centre of the annual Cross-Media Forum (15 – 18 October), held in association with the 57th BFI London Film Festival.
30 international projects will be selected, with 8 teams chosen to present their concept to a panel of industry executives at The Pixel Pitch (16 Oct) in an attempt to win the prestigious 6,000€ ARTE International Prize for The Pixel Pitch, and in front of a 400 strong public audience!
All 30 teams are in for the running to win an additional two prizes;

the beActive Pixel Market Prize for Best Scripted Content worth £2,500 and
-
the Cinekid Pixel Market Prize for Best Children’s Project (4 – 14 year olds), which will get you automatic selection to Cinekid for Professionals co-production market in October, plus return travel and two nights accommodation in Amsterdam!
All 30 teams take part in The Pixel Market Meetings (17 Oct) where they will engage in a series of one on one meetings with over 100 international experts from the worlds of film, TV, mobile, publishing, gaming and interactive, all looking to finance and distribute new projects!
There are also numerous networking lunches and dinners to meet your fellow participants, The Pixel Pitch panel of experts, as well as invited international industry guests.
As the largest finance market dedicated to supporting cross-media talent, this is a must-attend event for anyone looking to get their projects financed, form new business partnerships and be part of the future of cross-media!
